I‘m a 25 year old trainee accountant in my final year of exams in 2022.
Spirit is a 12 year old warmblood cross gelding who has been with me for 10 years. My mum purchased Spirit as a 2 year old from Ireland and he’s been at our yard ever since.
I have done a bit of everything, from dressage to cross country and riding club activities, however over the past 4 years we have turned our hooves to affiliated dressage.
Spirit and I have had some wonderful achievements over the past 4 years competing at Under 25 Championships, Quest Nationals, along with Summer and Winter Nationals and Area festival Nationals within the past year.
As Spirit is my first horse which I have produced beyond elementary I am keen to learn and develop him through the levels seeing how far we can go together. The sky is our limit!
Throughout my life LM saddles has been my families go to for saddling all our horses. The approach taken by LM saddles and their understanding of the horses biomechanics means they work alongside their clients to help the horses develop in a healthy and correct way.
Throughout Spirits journey with me he has always been saddled by LM Saddles. His first GP saddle was fitted by Lavinia and since Jemma has been a wonderful part of our team - recently helping us into an appropriate dressage saddle.
Being a very wide horse with a huge shoulder he hasn’t always been the easiest, however, the compliments we receive from all other professionals that work with Spirit speaks wonders for Jemma’s work alongside our training to help him develop.
